Wrote “As Far As I Can Go,” a short that explores Asian identity in pursuit of the American Dream. It explores the feeling of “Why not me? Why them?” as the main character pursues her dream of being a popstar in a night gone horribly bloody. The film is a fever dream inspired by, conversely, Nightcrawler—the alienation, the loneliness, the extremity—and Spring Breakers—the technicolors, the dreamlike atmosphere, the hollow glitz of the American dream.

“As Far As I Can Go” was accepted into Lift Off New York’s screenplay competition for 2022. I’m currently looking for producers and collaborators to bring it to screen.

"Full Movie Here" is a web series that takes titles of famous male-driven films and creates new storylines based off of the title alone with female protagonists instead. Written by Andrea Christensen, and directed by Andrea and Toni-Marie Gallardo. Praise for the series can be read about at Refinery29, A.V. Club, Glamour, and more.

Andrea has also done some freelance humor writing for Newest York, a monthly online zine.

#1 Gone Girlz: A day in the life of being terrorized by the worst people I have ever known: my new to the city, 18 year old party girl roommates from hell.

#2 Brunch, A Catalogue: When I was a hostess at a popular restaurant, aka I have never known the potential of how awful people can be until I was the gatekeeper of NYC's most exclusive club: brunch.
